Submission Rules

  TYPESCRIPTS

1. Papers will be reformatted from authors typescripts which must be supplied on an electronic mail. Proofs will be printed and the final responsibility for accuracy rests with the author(s).

2. English is the preferred language, but papers may be submitted in Turkish, with an English abstract, English keywords and an English translation of the title, which will be included in the publication.

3. Contributions may be up to 8,000 words and should be typed in a clear script (preferably Times New Roman) and double spaced, with 1.5 cm margins all round. Items that are usually italicized may be typed as italics or underlined.

4. On the first page the title should be typed in capitals and followed by:

Author(s) full name indicating by an asterisk (*) the author to whom correspondence should be addressed;

Adequate postal address(es), and email address or FAX number for corresponding Author;

An abstract of no greater than 250 words.

Keywords, a maximum of 5 keywords which identify the main points in the paper. Placed immediately below the abstract

5. Three levels of heading may be used:

MAJOR HEADINGS These should be typed in upper case, not underlined and centered on the page on a separate line.

Minor Headings These should be typed in upper and lower case (as indicated), not underlined and aligned on the left of the page on a separate line.

Subheadings These may be used and should be typed at the beginning of the section on the first line of text with the first letter in uppercase, all others in lower case. The heading should be italicized.

6. Papers should include Tables figure titles and Figures at the end of the text. If Figures are drafted please send a clear copy of the figures. Figures should be high quality with uniform contrast, appropriate line thickness and suitably sized symbols and legends. Shading of any kind should be avoided in the preparation of the figures.

Final versions of papers must be submitted electronically to intjttr@gmail.com . All figures must also be included, the maximum size of figures printed in JTTR is 22 cm x 16 cm (one full page), however, half page figures (16 cm x 10 cm) and smaller are much more common. Final papers not in correct format will be rejected by the editor.

7. Formulae can be submitted as camera ready figures (without figure titles, but with clear labeling of the formula and an indication of the formulas position in the text), or, if the author(s) intend to submit the final version using a word processor capable of mathematical typesetting, they may include them in the text.

8. Tables should be included at the end of the main body of text, with appropriate titles and numbers. In electronic versions of manuscripts, they must not be saved in figure format, but constructed with the word processor table function.

9. Figure and Table numbers should be in Arabic script (Figure 4.), formulae should be numbered with roman numerals (iv).

10. The authors initials should follow the surname and all authors should be listed (et al. is not acceptable). The references must contain the full titles of papers whether published in a journal, or in a book. This form is indicated in the following examples:
